Come and join us for Board Game fun at our HQ in Auckland. This is a chance for you to meet up with other board gamers to play, chat, learn, and celebrate board games!

When: Sunday, August 6th 2023 – 10.30AM to 4PM
Where: At Mighty Ape HQ, 24–28 Highgate Parkway, Silverdale, Auckland 0932
How much: $5.00 to play, free to spectate.

How do I pay?
You can pay your fee when you arrive by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. We will also offer a discount for families of 4+ people; for families of 4 or more people one person plays for free.

What does the $5 get me?
It will give you access to our library of board games and space to play your own games.. Paying players will also be eligible to WIN spot prizes during the day. The fee also allows us to maintain our games library and ensure that it is up to date and always in playable condition.

Can I watch?
You are welcome to observe games being played at no cost. If you change your mind during the course of the day and want to give the games a go our friendly monkeys will get you set up in no time!

Do I need to bring games with me?
You are welcome to bring your own games we just ask you don't bring too many. You’re also free to pick games from our library of games to play.

If you do want to bring a large group and are looking for your own space to play we have two private rooms (with seating for up to 10 people per room) available for hire during the day. These rooms are a space to play your own games (or one of ours) privately with your own group members. Please contact shlome.jeffries@mightyape.co.nz for any board game room booking enquiries.

What games will be there?
We have a library of over 150 games available for play for players from 5 years old to adult. Games include Catan, Pandemic, Splendor and Codenames, as well as family classics like Guess Who, Cranium, and Connect 4. Click HERE to see our full library.

Food & drink
Our full range of snacks and drinks will be available for purchase on the day. You can bring your own food on the day we just ask that you keep things tidy!

I can’t make it :(
