Last weekend our Book Gorilla attended the Auckland Writers' Festival and what a brilliant festival it was! The 2015 festival saw ticket sales breaking all previous records as bestselling authors from across the globe came to inspire and entertain thousands of New Zealand book lovers with tales of media crisis, cats, awful aunties, medicine and everything in between.

Bookworms and literary minds rejoice – The line up for the 2015 Auckland Writers Festival has been announced!
The Programme features an enormous range of Authors from incredibly diverse genres – from David Walliams, who recently released his latest Children's title, The First Hippo on the Moon to Atul Gawande, acclaimed author of Being Mortal.
That doesn't even scratch the top of who's coming this year. There's Haruki Murakami, author of Strange Library! We could go on, but it'd probably save time if you just had a look for yourself!
With the calibre of writers in this year's festival, there's bound to be someone there for everyone – so why not head over and book your tickets now. You wouldn't want to miss out on your favourite author, would you?
