Recipes using Justine's Cookie Crumbs!

Guilt Free Desserts!

Hey Monkeys, we have some great recipe ideas from our friends over at Justine's for you to sink your teeth into. These make awesome treats for you family to share without the sugar! Oh and they are also a great gift for the low-carber in your life :)

If you love Cheesecake you will love this first recipe we have for you!

Ingredients

For Base :-
2 Cups Justines Cookie Crumbs
1/2 Cup Guilt Free Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup PB2 (I went for Chocolate flavour)
For Filling :-
3 170gm Pots of Natural Yoghurt
1 Pot of Extra Light Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 Scoops of Cookies and Cream flavoured Whey Protein Powder
2 Scoops of Chocolate flavoured Whey Protein Powder
2 Tbsp Erythritol (optional)
For Topping :-
8 Wheels Cookies (I liked this over the Oreo ones because these are slightly less sugary)

Instructions

For Base:-
a. Preheat oven at 150C
b. Mix all the ingredients
c. Evenly spread in a cake tin and form a base
d. Put it in the oven at 150C for 10 minutes
e. Take out and let it cool down (may want to put in the refrigerator)
For Filling:-
a. Mix \ Whisk Yoghurt, Cream Cheese and Erythritol
b. Divide the batter in two halves
c. Mix Chocolate protein powder in one half
d. Mix Cookies & Cream protein powder in other half
e. Alternately pour the mixtures in the base (centre it properly for a nicer texture)
For Topping:-
a. Crush Wheels cookies and evenly spread over the filling

Now put the cake tin in the oven at 150C and bake for roughly 25–30 minutes
Check using a toothpick that it comes out clean, but it is still moist, you don’t want to overcook it.
Once done let it cool down then put it in the fridge (I know this is the hardest part) for couple of hours.

Then dig in! :)
