The adventure film In the Heart of the Sea is now shipping on DVD and Blu-ray. The film is set in the winter of 1820 and is a story about the New England whaling ship Essex which was assaulted by a whale of mammoth size and an almost human sense of vengeance. This real-life maritime disaster is what inspired Melville’s Moby-Dick. The film is directed by Ron Howard and stars Chris Hemsworth, Cilian Murphy and Brendan Gleeson.
